North Carolina High School Basketball - Leadership Academy overwhelmed by Bishop McGuinness

The Bishop McGuinness Villains basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the visiting Leadership Academy Falcons to 35 in the Villains league victory on Tuesday.

The Villains now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carver for a 1A Conference 32 contest on Friday, February 3. Bishop McGuinness will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 79-42 league win over Millennium (Mount Airy, NC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 4-16.

The Falcons (13-6) will now prepare for their contest against Thomasville (Thomasville, NC). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 17-4 record. In their last contest, Thomasville triumphed over North Rowan (Spencer, NC), 52-47, in a league contest.
