In Tuesday's league outing, the Bishop Ryan Lions (Minot, ND) basketball squad beat the visiting Our Redeemer's Christian Knights (Minot, ND), by a count of 68-52.
The Lions (12-1) will now prepare for their outing against Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood (Renville, ND). The Mavericks go into the B Region 6 District 12 outing with a 6-4 record. In their last outing, Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood was topped by Des Lacs-Burlington (Des Lacs, ND), 72-39, in a league outing.
The Knights now hold a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Beulah for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 7. Our Redeemer's Christian will clash with a Miners squad coming off a 45-37 league win over Heart River co-op [Belfield/South Heart] (Belfield, ND). The Miners record now stands at 10-2.
