Walkersville Lions (Walkersville, MD) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Boonsboro Warriors (Boonsboro, MD), 57-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Walkersville upgrades its record to 15-2 on the season. The Lions host Williamsport (Williamsport, MD) to play the Wildcats in a CMC bout on Friday, February 3. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Williamsport lost 43-34 in their recent league challenge against Smithsburg (Smithsburg, MD)

Next up, the Warriors confront the Brunswick Railroaders (Brunswick, MD) in a CMC challenge, on Monday, February 6. Boonsboro will attempt to improve on its 3-13 season record.
