The Braintree Wamps basketball team scored 54 points and held the host Milton Wildcats to 44 in the Wamps league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wamps now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Needham for a Bay State - Herget contest on Friday, February 3. Braintree will battle a Rockets team coming off a 74-47 league win over Weymouth (South Weymouth, MA). The Rockets record now stands at 11-1.

The Wildcats (0-13) will now prepare for their contest against Walpole (Walpole, MA). The Timberwolves enter the Bay State - Herget contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Walpole was defeated by Natick (Natick, MA), 60-54, in a league contest.
