South Park Eagles (South Park, PA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Brentwood Spartans (Pittsburgh, PA), 64-59 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, South Park upgrades its record to 6-10 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Coraopolis, PA) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 14-4. Our Lady of the Sacred Heart lost 85-80 in their recent league bout against Steel Valley (Munhall, PA)

Next up, the Spartans play the Seton LaSalle Rebels (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Brentwood will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record. The Rebels come into the bout with a 10-10 record after their 58-45 league win over Keystone Oaks (Pittsburgh, PA).
