With the win, Edmund Burke Academy upgrades its record to 6-15 on the season. The Spartans host Augusta Prep Day (Augusta, GA) to clash with the Cavaliers in a GIAA AA Region 4 bout on Friday, February 3. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 6-13. Augusta Prep Day won 50-41 in their recent non-league bout against Thomas Jefferson Academy (Louisville, GA)

Next up, the Buccaneers clash with the Alleluia Community (Augusta, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Briarwood Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record.
