Georgia High School Basketball - Brooks County routs Cook

January 31, 2023: Quitman, GA 31643

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Brooks County Trojans (Quitman, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Cook Hornets (Adel, GA), by a margin of 53-31.

The Trojans (5-19) will now prepare for their outing against Bacon County (Alma, GA). The Raiders go into the A D1 Region 1 outing with a 6-10 record. In their last outing, Bacon County was trounced by Telfair County (McRae, GA), 71-64, in a non-league outing.

The Hornets now own a 5-15 record. They play next when they travel to Dodge County for a AA Region 1 match on Friday, February 3. Cook will meet a Indians team coming off a 81-45 league win over Jeff Davis (Hazlehurst, GA). The Indians record now stands at 14-3.
