Brunswick Wildcats (Brunswick, MO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Higbee Tigers (Higbee, MO), 56-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Brunswick upgrades its record to 10-2 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Grundy County/Newtown-Harris (Galt, MO) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 18-2. Grundy County/Newtown-Harris won 45-30 in their recent league bout against Winston (Winston, MO)

Next up, the Tigers play the Van-Far Indians (Vandalia, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Higbee will attempt to upgrade on its 18-3 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 11-10 record after their 62-49 league win over Mark Twain (Center, MO).
