The Stoneham Spartans (Stoneham, MA) basketball knocked off the host Burlington Red Devils (Burlington, MA), 73-64 in Tuesday's league test.
The Spartans (3-11) will now prepare for their test against Wilmington (Wilmington, MA). The Wildcats go into the Middlesex test with a 0-15 record. In their last test, Wilmington went down by Wakefield Memorial (Wakefield, MA), 61-45, in a league test.
The Red Devils now own a 12-3 record. They play next when they travel to Watertown for a Middlesex test on Friday, February 3. Burlington will encounter a Red Raiders squad coming off a 60-44 league loss to Melrose (Melrose, MA). The Red Raiders record now stands at 6-7.
