With the victory, Mapletown improves its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Maples travel to Geibel Catholic (Connellsville, PA) to confront the Gators in a WPIAL 1A 2 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Gators come into the challenge with a record of 11-6. Geibel Catholic won 75-55 in their recent league challenge against Monessen (Monessen, PA)

Next up, the Trojans confront the Carrick Raiders (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 1. California will attempt to improve on its 5-12 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 6-14 record after their 61-30 non-league loss to Seton LaSalle (Pittsburgh, PA).
