CAM Cougars (Anita, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Coon Rapids-Bayard Crusaders (Coon Rapids, IA), 59-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, CAM upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Cougars host Audubon (Audubon, IA) to play the Wheelers in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 2. The Wheelers go into the bout with a record of 5-12. Audubon lost 60-52 in their recent league bout against Logan-Magnolia (Logan, IA)

Next up, the Crusaders play the Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center (Guthrie Center, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 2. Coon Rapids-Bayard will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 73-44 league win over West Central Valley (Stuart, IA).
