Fillmore Flashes (Fillmore, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Carpinteria Warriors (Carpinteria, CA), 71-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, Fillmore upgrades its record to 11-11 on the campaign. The Flashes travel to Hueneme (Oxnard, CA) to play the Vikings in a Citrus Coast bout on Thursday, February 2. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 3-19. Hueneme lost 66-33 in their recent league bout against Santa Paula (Santa Paula, CA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Malibu Sharks (Malibu, CA) in a Citrus Coast bout, on Thursday, February 2. Carpinteria will attempt to upgrade on its 5-19 season record. The Sharks come into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 63-53 league loss to Channel Islands (Oxnard, CA).
