Carver Yellowjackets (Winston-Salem, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Millennium Lions (Mount Airy, NC), 79-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Carver upgrades its record to 4-16 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC) to play the Villains in a 1A Conference 32 bout on Friday, February 3. The Villains come into the bout with a record of 17-5. Bishop McGuinness won 75-35 in their recent league bout against Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC)

Next up, the Lions play the Winston-Salem Prep Phoenix (Winston-Salem, NC) in a 1A Conference 32 bout, on Friday, February 3. Millennium will attempt to upgrade on its 2-21 season record. The Phoenix come into the bout with a 10-8 record after their 82-50 league win over Bethany (Summerfield, NC).
