Mayville Wildcats (Mayville, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Caseville Eagles (Caseville, MI), 53-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Mayville upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Marlette (Marlette, MI) to play the Red Raiders in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a record of 4-8. Marlette lost 31-29 in their recent league bout against Capac (Capac, MI)

Next up, the Eagles play the North Huron Warriors (Kinde, MI) in a North Central Thumb bout, on Friday, February 3. Caseville will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record.
