Michigan High School Basketball - Central Lake can't hold off Mancelona

The Mancelona Ironmen basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Central Lake Trojans to 59 in the Ironmen league triumph on Tuesday.
The Ironmen now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Johannesburg-Lewiston for a Ski-Valley contest on Thursday, February 2. Mancelona will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 75-27 league loss to Inland Lakes (Indian River, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-12.
The Trojans (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Traverse City Christian (Traverse City, MI). The Sabres enter the non-league contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Traverse City Christian nudged Bear Lake (Bear Lake, MI), 56-20, in a non-league contest.
