Mead Panthers (Spokane, WA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Central Valley Bears (Spokane Valley, WA), 64-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, Mead upgrades its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Mt. Spokane (Mead, WA) to play the Wildcats in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane bout on Thursday, February 2. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 17-1. Mt. Spokane won 67-35 in their recent league bout against University (Spokane, WA)

Next up, the Bears play the University Titans (Spokane, WA) in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane bout, on Thursday, February 2. Central Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-16 season record. The Titans come into the bout with a 12-6 record after their 67-35 league loss to Mt. Spokane (Mead, WA).
