North Carolina High School Basketball - Hopewell ripped by Chambers

In Tuesday's league match, the host Chambers Cougars basketball team scored a decisive 86-63 triumph over the Hopewell Titans.

In their next game, the Cougars meet the North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) in a 3A/4A Conference 60 match, on Friday, February 3. Chambers will attempt to move on its 16-5 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 20-1 record after their 84-40 league win over West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC).

With the defeat, Hopewell moves to 12-8 on the year. The Titans travel to West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to meet the Hawks in a 3A/4A Conference 60 match on Friday, February 3. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 2-18. West Mecklenburg lost 84-40 in their recent league match against North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC)
