In Tuesday's league outing, the Charles City Comets (Charles City, IA) basketball squad felled the visiting Crestwood Cadets (Cresco, IA), by a margin of 68-51.

The Comets (13-6) will now prepare for their outing against New Hampton (New Hampton, IA). The Chickasaws go into the Northeast Iowa outing with a 8-10 record. In their last outing, New Hampton thwarted Central Springs (Manly, IA), 79-63, in a non-league outing.

The Cadets now own a 12-6 record. They play next when they host Waverly-Shell Rock for a Northeast Iowa outing on Friday, February 3. Crestwood will clash with a Go-Hawks squad coming off a 68-54 non-league win over Mason City (Mason City, IA). The Go-Hawks record now stands at 12-4.
