The Lenape Indians (Medford, NJ) basketball nipped the host Cherry Hill East Cougars (Cherry Hill, NJ), 42-39 in Tuesday's league test.
The Indians (14-3) will now prepare for their test against Eastern (Voorhees, NJ). The Vikings go into the Freelance test with a 12-8 record. In their last test, Eastern was tipped by East Brunswick (East Brunswick, NJ), 64-63, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 10-9 record. They play next when they travel to Rancocas Valley for a non-league test on Thursday, February 2. Cherry Hill East will encounter a Red Devils squad coming off a 57-48 non-league win over Cherokee (Marlton, NJ). The Red Devils record now stands at 10-6.
