The Erie Red Devils basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Cherryvale Chargers to 50 in the Red Devils non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Red Devils now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bluestem for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3. Erie will battle a Lions team coming off a 59-25 non-league loss to Caney Valley (Caney, KS). The Lions record now stands at 0-14.

The Chargers (9-5) will now prepare for their match against Fredonia (Fredonia, KS). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league match with a 7-8 record. In their last match, Fredonia knocked off Neodesha (Neodesha, KS), 75-54, in a non-league match.
