Chetek-Weyerhaeuser Bulldogs (Chetek, WI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host St. Croix Falls Saints (St. Croix Falls, WI), 62-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Chetek-Weyerhaeuser upgrades its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Cumberland (Cumberland, WI) to play the Beavers in a Heart O'North bout on Friday, February 3. The Beavers come into the bout with a record of 10-5. Cumberland won 67-65 in their recent league bout against Cameron (Cameron, WI)

Next up, the Saints play the Spooner Rails (Spooner, WI) in a Heart O'North bout, on Friday, February 3. St. Croix Falls will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Rails come into the bout with a 1-15 record after their 79-31 league loss to Northwestern (Maple, WI).
