The Columbus Sailors basketball team (Waterloo, IA), dropped 74-57 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Dike-New Hartford Wolverines (Dike, IA)

The Wolverines now sport a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aplington-Parkersburg for a North Iowa Cedar - West battle on Friday, February 3. Dike-New Hartford will battle a Falcons team coming off a 81-75 league win over Hudson (Hudson, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 17-1.

The Sailors (2-14) will now prepare for their battle against Union (La Porte City, IA). The Knights come into the North Iowa Cedar - East battle with a 7-13 record. In their last battle, Union dropped by Jesup (Jesup, IA), 68-53, in a league battle.
