In Tuesday's league outing, the Coosa Eagles (Rome, GA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Dalton Academy Pumas (Dalton, GA), by a margin of 97-48.
The Eagles (10-13) will now prepare for their outing against Pepperell (Lindale, GA). The Dragons go into the A D1 Region 7 outing with a 10-12 record. In their last outing, Pepperell was trounced by Chattooga (Summerville, GA), 71-52, in a league outing.
The Pumas now own a 1-19 record. They play next when they travel to Chattooga for a A D1 Region 7 outing on Friday, February 3. Dalton Academy will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 71-52 league win over Pepperell (Lindale, GA). The Indians record now stands at 15-8.
