California High School Basketball - Maricopa knocked off by Cuyama Valley

The Cuyama Valley Bears basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Maricopa Indians to 49 in the Bears league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bears now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Valley Christian Academy for a Coast Valley contest on Thursday, February 2. Cuyama Valley will meet a Lions team coming off a 56-53 league win over San Luis Obispo Classical Academy (San Luis Obispo, CA). The Lions record now stands at 16-9.
The Indians (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Coast Union (Cambria, CA). The Broncos enter the Coast Valley contest with a 7-14 record. In their last contest, Coast Union ran past Coastal Christian (Pismo Beach, CA), 57-29, in a league contest.
