Swampscott Big Blue (Swampscott, MA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Danvers Falcons (Danvers, MA), 65-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Swampscott upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The Big Blue travel to Beverly (Beverly, MA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 11-4. Beverly won 67-44 in their recent league bout against Masconomet Regional (Boxford, MA)

Next up, the Falcons play the Marblehead Magicians (Marblehead, MA) in a Northeastern - Small bout, on Friday, February 3. Danvers will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Magicians go into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 58-57 league loss to Salem (Salem, MA).
