Southern Indians (Salineville, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting David Anderson Blue Devils (Lisbon, OH), 61-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Southern upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Indians travel to Valley Christian (Youngstown, OH) to play the Eagles in a Eastern Ohio bout on Friday, February 3. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Valley Christian won 54-14 in their recent league bout against Leetonia (Leetonia, OH)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Wellsville Tigers (Wellsville, OH) in a Eastern Ohio bout, on Friday, February 3. David Anderson will attempt to upgrade on its 12-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 11-6 record after their 71-37 league win over East Palestine (East Palestine, OH).
