Nebraska High School Basketball - Dundy County-Stratton holds off Southwest

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Dundy County-Stratton Tigers (Benkelman, NE) and the visiting Southwest Roughriders (Bartley, NE), saw Dundy County-Stratton's basketball squad hold off Southwest by a tally of 49-47.

With the victory, Dundy County-Stratton improves its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Rawlins County (Atwood, KS) to confront the Buffaloes in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 3. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a record of 10-5. Rawlins County lost 58-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Hitchcock County (Trenton, NE)

Next up, the Roughriders confront the Wallace Wildcats (Wallace, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Southwest will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record.
