East Jackson Eagles (Commerce, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Fellowship Christian Paladins (Roswell, GA), 70-53 in a league bout.

With the victory, East Jackson upgrades its record to 8-15 on the campaign. The Eagles host Union County (Blairsville, GA) to play the Panthers in a AA Region 8 bout on Friday, February 3. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 15-8. Union County lost 89-62 in their recent league bout against Banks County (Homer, GA)

Next up, the Paladins play the Providence Christian Academy Storm (Lilburn, GA) in a AA Region 8 bout, on Friday, February 3. Fellowship Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 1-19 season record. The Storm come into the bout with a 20-3 record after their 66-60 league win over Athens Academy (Athens, GA).
