The Wellsville Tigers basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting East Palestine Bulldogs to 37 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to David Anderson for a Eastern Ohio contest on Friday, February 3. Wellsville will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 61-56 league loss to Southern (Salineville, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 12-5.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the United Golden Eagles (Hanoverton, OH) in a Eastern Ohio challenge, on Friday, February 3. East Palestine will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-11 record after their 47-43 league loss to Columbiana (Columbiana, OH).
