Minnesota High School Basketball - Eden Prairie can't hold off Edina

The Edina Hornets basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Eden Prairie Eagles to 66 in the Hornets league victory on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hopkins for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3. Edina will battle a Royals team coming off a 60-57 non-league loss to Buffalo (Buffalo, MN). The Royals record now stands at 12-5.
The Eagles (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Minnetonka (Minnetonka, MN). The Skippers come into the AAAA Section 2 contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Minnetonka edged St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN), 79-63, in a non-league contest.
