In Tuesday's league outing, the North Shore Country Day Raiders (Winnetka, IL) basketball squad edged the host Elgin Academy Hilltoppers (Elgin, IL), by a margin of 60-57.
The Raiders (8-8) will now prepare for their outing against Francis W. Parker (Chicago, IL). The Colonels go into the Independent School outing with a 14-9 record. In their last outing, Francis W. Parker was tipped by Northridge (Niles, IL), 62-61, in a league outing.
The Hilltoppers now own a 12-13 record. They play next when they host Latin for a Independent School outing on Thursday, February 2. Elgin Academy will clash with a Romans squad coming off a 49-48 league loss to Lake Forest Academy (Lake Forest, IL). The Romans record now stands at 14-12.
