In Tuesday's league outing, the Genoa Area Comets (Genoa, OH) basketball squad felled the host Elmwood Royals (Bloomdale, OH), by a margin of 50-33.
The Comets (13-4) will now prepare for their outing against Lake (Millbury, OH). The Flyers go into the Northern Buckeye outing with a 1-15 record. In their last outing, Lake was beaten by Otsego (Tontogany, OH), 62-47, in a league outing.
The Royals now own a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Woodmore for a Northern Buckeye outing on Friday, February 3. Elmwood will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 65-53 league loss to Fostoria (Fostoria, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-11.
