Eno River Bobcats (Hillsborough, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Roxboro Community Bulldogs (Roxboro, NC), 66-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Eno River upgrades its record to 7-13 on the season. The Bobcats host Oxford Prep (Oxford, NC) to play the Griffins in a 1A Conference 11 bout on Friday, February 3. The Griffins go into the bout with a record of 7-11. Oxford Prep lost 52-35 in their recent league bout against Vance Charter (Henderson, NC)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Voyager Vikings (Durham, NC) in a 1A Conference 11 bout, on Thursday, February 2. Roxboro Community will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 60-56 league loss to Henderson Collegiate (Henderson, NC).
