In Tuesday's league match, the visiting McDowell Trojans basketball team scored a good 49-39 triumph over the Erie Royals.
In their next game, the Trojans meet the Austintown-Fitch Falcons (Youngstown, OH) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 10. McDowell will attempt to better on its 12-4 season record.
With the defeat, Erie moves to 9-8 on the year. The Royals host General McLane (Edinboro, PA) to meet the Lancers in a District 10 Region 7 match on Friday, February 3. The Lancers enter the match with a record of 8-7. General McLane won 73-56 in their recent league match against Meadville (Meadville, PA)
