Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Evanston Wildkits (Evanston, IL) and the host Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL), saw Evanston's basketball squad knock off Maine South by a count of 42-26.

With the victory, Evanston upgrades its record to 19-6 on the campaign. The Wildkits host Glenbard West (Glen Ellyn, IL) to play the Hilltoppers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Hilltoppers come into the challenge with a record of 15-8.

Next up, the Hawks play the Glenbrook North Spartans (Northbrook, IL) in a Central Suburban - South challenge, on Friday, February 3. Maine South will attempt to upgrade on its 10-14 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 22-3 record after their 73-66 league win over Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL).
