Texas High School Basketball - Fabens overwhelmed by Mountain View

The Mountain View Lobos basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Fabens Wildcats to 49 in the Lobos league victory on Tuesday.
The Lobos now sport a 5-22 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Elizario for a 4A Region I District 2 contest on Friday, February 3. Mountain View will battle a Eagles team coming off a 50-43 league loss to Riverside (El Paso, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 16-12.
The Wildcats (5-18) will now prepare for their contest against Cathedral (El Paso, TX). The Fighting Irish come into the non-league contest with a 14-14 record. In their last contest, Cathedral triumphed over Immanuel Christian (El Paso, TX), 61-46, in a non-league contest.
