The First Baptist Christian basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the host Faith Baptist Christian to 57 in the league victory on Tuesday.
The now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Georgetown-Ridge Farm for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3. First Baptist Christian will battle a Buffaloes team coming off a 60-55 league loss to Schlarman (Danville, IL). The Buffaloes record now stands at 5-17.
The (0-11) will now prepare for their contest against East Moline Christian (East Moline, IL). The Eagles come into the Illinois Christian contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, East Moline Christian dropped by Morning Star Academy (Bettendorf, IA), 39-26, in a non-league bout.
