The Fitchburg Red Raiders (Fitchburg, MA) basketball crushed the host Shrewsbury Colonials (Shrewsbury, MA), 55-31 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Red Raiders (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Algonquin Regional (Northborough, MA). The Titans go into the non-league test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Algonquin Regional was trounced by Wachusett Regional (Holden, MA), 59-34, in a league test.
The Colonials now own a 3-9 record. They play next when they travel to Burncoat for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 1. Shrewsbury will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 88-51 league loss to North (Worcester, MA). The Patriots record now stands at 2-10.
