With the victory, Floyd County upgrades its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Buffaloes host Carroll County (Hillsville, VA) to play the Cavaliers in a Three Rivers challenge on Friday, February 3. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 14-7. Carroll County won 80-54 in their recent league challenge against James River (Buchanan, VA)

Next up, the Highlanders play the Salem Spartans (Salem, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 3. Glenvar will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 9-11 record after their 65-36 league loss to Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA).
