South Carolina High School Basketball - Lower Richland trounces Gilbert

The Lower Richland Diamond Hornets (Hopkins, SC) basketball crushed the visiting Gilbert Indians (Gilbert, SC), 70-25 in Tuesday's league test.
The Diamond Hornets (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Swansea (Swansea, SC). The Tigers go into the AAA Region 5 test with a 1-18 record. In their last test, Swansea was trounced by Orangeburg-Wilkinson (Orangeburg, SC), 83-20, in a league test.
The Indians now own a 4-19 record. They play next when they travel to Brookland-Cayce for a AAA Region 5 test on Friday, February 3. Gilbert will encounter a Bearcats squad coming off a 60-50 league win over Dreher (Columbia, SC). The Bearcats record now stands at 8-12.
