Gilmer Bobcats (Ellijay, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting White County Warriors (Cleveland, GA), 79-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Gilmer upgrades its record to 15-7 on the season. The Bobcats travel to Wesleyan (Norcross, GA) to clash with the Wolves in a AAA Region 7 bout on Friday, February 3. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 16-6. Wesleyan won 44-38 in their recent league bout against West Hall (Oakwood, GA)

Next up, the Warriors clash with the Pickens Dragons (Jasper, GA) in a AAA Region 7 bout, on Friday, February 3. White County will attempt to upgrade on its 12-10 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 10-11 record after their 64-59 league win over Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA).
