The Mabton Vikings basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Goldendale Timberwolves to 52 in the Vikings league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vikings now sport a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Granger for a 2B Eastern Washington - West contest on Thursday, February 2. Mabton will meet a Spartans team coming off a 84-45 league loss to White Swan (White Swan, WA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-16.
The Timberwolves (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Kittitas (Kittitas, WA). The Coyotes enter the 2B Eastern Washington - West contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, Kittitas was outscored by Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna (Ritzville, WA), 72-40, in a non-league contest.
