Goshen Eagles (Goshen, AL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Pike Liberal Arts Patriots (Troy, AL), 30-26 in a league bout.

With the win, Goshen upgrades its record to 5-19 on the season. The Eagles travel to Calhoun (Letohatchee, AL) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 9-14. Calhoun lost 68-67 in their recent non-league bout against Luverne (Luverne, AL)

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Alabama Christian Academy Eagles (Montgomery, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Pike Liberal Arts will attempt to upgrade on its 5-20 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 7-19 record after their 50-49 non-league win over Notasulga (Notasulga, AL).
