Lewisville Lions (Richburg, SC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Governor's School for Science & Math Eagles (Hartsville, SC), 57-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lewisville upgrades its record to 5-14 on the campaign. The Lions travel to McBee (McBee, SC) to play the Panthers in a A Region 3 bout on Friday, February 3. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 5-15. McBee lost 81-31 in their recent league bout against Great Falls (Great Falls, SC)

Next up, the Eagles play the C.A. Johnson Hornets (Columbia, SC) in a A Region 3 bout, on Friday, February 3. Governor's School for Science & Math will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 7-11 record after their 93-23 league win over Riverwalk Academy (Rock Hill, SC).
