The Greater New Bedford RVT Bears basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Greater Lowell Tech Gryphons to 47 in the Bears non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bears now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Old Rochester Regional for a South Coast contest on Friday, February 3.

The Gryphons (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Greater Lawrence Tech (Andover, MA). The Reggies enter the Commonwealth - Upper contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Greater Lawrence Tech was nudged by Shawsheen Valley Tech (Billerica, MA), 70-55, in a league contest.
