In Tuesday's league outing, the Richard Pioneers (Riverview, MI) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Greenhills Gryphons (Ann Arbor, MI), by a count of 59-29.
The Pioneers (11-1) will now prepare for their outing against Bishop Foley (Madison Heights, MI). The Ventures go into the Catholic Intersectional I outing with a 7-6 record. In their last outing, Bishop Foley smashed Shrine Catholic (Royal Oak, MI), 49-32, in a league outing.
The Gryphons now hold a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Shrine Catholic for a Catholic Intersectional I outing on Friday, February 3. Greenhills will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 74-47 non-league loss to Divine Child (Dearborn, MI). The Knights record now stands at 3-12.
