The Hand Tigers (Madison, CT) basketball knocked off the host North Haven Nighthawks (North Haven, CT), 49-36 in Tuesday's league test.
The Tigers (9-5) will now prepare for their test against Notre Dame (West Haven, CT). The Green Knights go into the non-league test with a 13-2 record. In their last test, Notre Dame notched a victory over Lyman Hall (Wallingford, CT), 98-34, in a non-league test.
The Nighthawks now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they host Lyman Hall for a Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset test on Friday, February 3. North Haven will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 98-34 non-league loss to Notre Dame (West Haven, CT). The Trojans record now stands at 6-8.
