Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Hebron Christian Academy Lions (Dacula, GA) and the host Hart County Bulldogs (Hartwell, GA), saw Hebron Christian Academy's basketball squad hold off Hart County by a count of 55-48.

The Lions now possess a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monroe Area for a AAA Region 8 battle on Friday, February 3. Hebron Christian Academy will confront a Purple Hurricanes team coming off a 83-58 league win over Franklin County (Carnesville, GA). The Purple Hurricanes record now stands at 19-3.

The Bulldogs (12-10) will now prepare for their battle against Stephens County (Toccoa, GA). The Indians come into the AAA Region 8 battle with a 11-9 record. In their last battle, Stephens County was nudged by Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA), 68-51, in a league battle.
