Hayfield Vikings (Hayfield, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Triton Cobras (Dodge Center, MN), 60-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hayfield upgrades its record to 16-3 on the season. The Vikings host New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva (New Richland, MN) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-15. New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva lost 69-47 in their recent league bout against Maple River (Mapleton, MN)

Next up, the Cobras play the Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton Bulldogs (Janesville, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 3. Triton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 62-49 league loss to United South Central (Wells, MN).
