Pennsylvania High School Basketball - J.P. McCaskey can't hold off Hempfield

The Hempfield Black Knights basketball team scored 74 points and held the host J.P. McCaskey Red Tornado to 71 in the Black Knights league triumph on Tuesday.
The Black Knights now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Conestoga for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 4. Hempfield will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 51-39 league loss to Lower Merion (Ardmore, PA). The Pioneers record now stands at 10-9.
The Red Tornado (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Cedar Crest (Lebanon, PA). The Falcons enter the Lancaster-Lebanon 1 contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Cedar Crest nudged Conrad Weiser (Robesonia, PA), 64-54, in a non-league contest.
